Conference Location

The Trinity College Dublin (TCD) campus is located in the heart of the city centre, the campus has a number of points of interest such as the Book of Kells, the Long Room and the beautiful historic campus its self. TCD is well served by the DART, Dublin Bus, and is within walking distance of the city centre and any of the hotel listed below.

Accommodation

Participants in the conference are expected to arrange their own accommodation for the duration of the Workshop.

The meeting has been timed so that Visitor Accommodation should also be available on-campus at Trinity College Dublin. Several different Room Types are available at these Rates. Follow this link for Reservations.

Transportation

Below are details of how to travel to TCD from Dublin Airport:

  • Dublin Bus' Airlink (747 and 748) operates an express service from the airport to the city centre. Cost is EUR 10 return. Buses run every 15 mins from 05:00-24:00; the closest stop to TCD is in O'Connell Street.
  • Aircoach operates a 24-hour bus service between the airport and Grafton Street/Trinity College. Cost is EUR 12 return. Buses run every 15 mins from 05:00-24:00 and every hour thereafter.Travel time is approximately 30 mins.
  • A taxi from the airport to the city centre/TCD cost EUR 20-30, depending on Dublin traffic.

TCD is less than a mile from Connolly Railway Station and is also well served by the DART, with the Pearse St. stop adjacent to the Campus.

Visas

Citizens of certain countries do not require an entry visa for Ireland. Please visit the Department of Foreign Affairs for further information.
